Gulf Stream students ages 9–13 train in the Juniors program — the most technically demanding kids class at Gracie Barra Boynton Beach. By this age, students are training with real BJJ intensity, working toward their next belt with documented technical milestones. For Gulf Stream families who treat martial arts as a long-term developmental investment, the Juniors program is where that investment starts paying visible dividends.

Why TrainJuniors?

01

The school's most technically demanding kids curriculum — advanced guard passing, back attacks, and competition-oriented combinations

02

Live training rounds under coaching supervision — the experience of applying technique against real resistance

03

Competition team pathways for students who want to compete in IBJJF kids/juvenile divisions or local Florida events

04

Physical athleticism developed through grappling: functional strength, timing, explosive movement, and recovery

05

A high-standard class environment where effort is expected and mediocrity is addressed constructively, not ignored

06

Preparation for a direct transition into the adult program — Juniors students who train consistently arrive at 14 ready to compete as adults

Frequently AskedQuestions

What makes Gracie Barra Boynton Beach the right BJJ school for Gulf Stream families?
Gulf Stream families tend to choose activities with verifiable instructor credentials, documented curriculum, and a track record that extends beyond a single school. Gracie Barra Boynton Beach meets all three. Prof. Sergio Costa holds a 3rd-degree black belt under the Gracie Barra lineage and is an IBJJF World Championship medalist — not a locally promoted instructor but a practitioner with competition results at the highest regulated level in the sport. The Gracie Barra curriculum is the same documented system used across 1,000-plus schools worldwide. And at six minutes from Gulf Stream, it is the nearest school combining these credentials with a complete schedule for both children and adults.
